For any questions regarding registrations. Register in person, by phone, or by mail. Registrations will NOT be processed unless accompanied by payment in full. Register early, class sizes are limited. Courses may be cancelled due to insufficient enrolment. Cancellations normally occur one week before the first class of the course.

A full refund will be issued for classes cancelled by the Gallery. Instructors and course content may change without notice.

Sorry payment online is not available, but you may send your registration request and info via email.

There will be no refunds when cancelling after 10 days before the first class. Cancellations prior to that period will be subject to a 10% administration fee. We are sorry, there are no refunds for missed classes or drop-outs.

Registration and attendance are subject to the condition that the City of Kitchener, the Gallery, its Directors, officers, and employees, are released from all responsibilities for injury, loss or damage, however caused, that may be sustained by any person attending a class. The student gives permission for Homer Watson House & Gallery to use photographs, video and audio of the student, taken during workshops and courses, for publicity purposes.

Support the Gallery by becoming a member! Your membership helps to serve the community through numerous programs such as exhibitions, studio learning experiences, children’s activities and much more. Members receive a 10% discount on all classes and workshops, bi-annual newsletters, exhibition invitations, and regular updates on all programs and events.

1026 Visual Art for Teens (ages 13-17)
This class is designed for teens interested in further developing their artistic skills, style and expression. Art exercises will cover basic
painting & drawing skills & techniques, as well as explore other mediums used in visual art. Join with a friend!

1019 After-School Art Studio (ages 11-14)
This class is great for working on an artistic idea or school-project or for those who just want to have some fun after-school creating interesting artwork!

Through painting, sculpture, drawing and a variety of other media, students will discover the exciting medieval era while developing their artistic ability!

09161 B&W Photography: Seeing through the Lens(ages 10-14)
This class is a basic introduction to basic dark room
photography and skills. Students are asked to bring a 35mm camera. Film and photo paper is supplied.

MARCH BREAK MANIA! March 15-19
March Break Camps fill up quickly so register today! Space is limited to 12 students per class. Supplies included.
These popular camps run from Monday-Friday.
Camp Times: 9:00am - Noon & 1:00pm-4:00pm
Cost: $84/$92 per 1/2 days, full week
Cost: $163/$179 full days, full week
Cost: $36/$40 per full day

Students are to bring a lunch and snacks if staying all day.
Lunch Supervision is offered free of charge for full day campers.

1020 Doodles, Drawing & Painting (ages 6-10)
This fun class will allow students to explore his or her favorite
animal or fantasy creature in artful ways. Principles of drawing, painting and sculpture will allow your young artist fun ways to express his or her favorite themes in art!

1022 Explorations in Mixed Media Printmaking! (ages 6-10)
Students will learn to create fun and exciting prints using various relief printmaking techniques. They will also learn how to
combine prints with many different media, including painting, drawing, and collage!

1021 Glazing Fun Pottery Creations (ages 6-10)
Campers will make masks, pots, and much more! Students
will fire and glaze two pieces of artwork.

1023Abstracting the Print! (ages 11-14)
Students will explore different and exciting methods of relief
printing. They will experiment using painting and drawing
materials in addition to their prints and are encouraged to
develop their skills and ideas.

1024Visual ART Basics: Expressive Portraits, Figures & Landscapes (ages 11-14)
This class explores a variety of basic drawing and painting
techniques. Students will cover such elements as perspective, form, shading, design, texture and composition.

1025 Pottery: On and Off the Wheel (ages 11-14)
Students will hand build with clay and learn how to throw on
the wheel! Students will fire and glaze two pieces of artwork.
