Get creative with Homer Watson House & Gallery at Community Appreciation Day! This FREE annual event welcomes families and community members to experience a wide variety of fun art activities, tours of the Gallery and Museum, and a tasty BBQ! All you need to bring is your imagination! On this day only, you can also receive up to 15% off summer camp registrations and memberships are buy one get one free.

On Community Appreciation Day, submerse yourself in interactive art activities that align with our children’s summer art programs. Our activities for the day will be led by four of our summer camp instructors, and include nature-themed mixed media, spring into metal, pinch-pot monster pottery, and kinder activities! Our popular Summer Art Camps run from July 2 – August 29, Monday – Friday, 9:00 – noon and 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Extended care is provided for an additional fee.

Summer Art Camps are designed for students aged 4 – 14, with select programs available for 14+ students. Visual art activities include painting, drawing, pottery, photography, cartooning, animation, sculpture, print-making, mixed media and more!
