8:30 am: Refreshments at the Gallery
9:00 am: Bus Departure for Toronto
3:30 pm: Bus Departure for Kitchener
5:00 pm: Arrival in Kitchener

Kinder Pottery with Rachel Tanner
Feb. 14 - Mar. 6 12:30-2:00pm
Your child will love this popular kinder class that is ideal for the child who engages hands-on! Rachel will gently guide and support the development of your child’s fine motors skills, while helping to build the foundation for socialization and personal expression.
Family Day Workshop; Drawing in soft pastels
Feb. 20 2:00-4:00pm
Spend Family Day together and allow Scott McNichol to guide you through drawing striking wintery scenes together.
Photo Focus for Adults with Scott McNichol
Mar. 1 - 29 7:00-9:00pm
This classic photo class will cover concepts of composition , light and shadow, shooting styles and developing techniques. Students will have chance to use the darkroom to develop traditional photos in B&W. This class is ideal for those with a 35mm traditional camera, although digital cameras are welcome too!
March Break Camps
Mar. 12 - 16 9:00 am - Noon, 1:00 - 4:00 pm
Register early as March Break Camps fill up quickly! These popular camps run from Monday-Friday. Space is limited in each camp. Students are to bring a lunch and snacks if staying all day. Lunchtime supervision is provided for full day campers. Camp times offered are: 9:00am-Noon and/or 1:00pm-4:00pm!

School Programs

Homer Watson House & Gallery is thrilled to announce another school year and a variety of curriculum based visual art programs for 2011-2012. In celebration of a very special Homer Watson exhibiton featuring two original Homer Watson landscape paintings from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, during May - September 2012, we have developed NEW programs to enhance your class visit with the Gallery.
Programs include Watson & Watercolour, Layered Paper Painting, Sculptured Paper Mills, Perspective Drawing of Homer's Mill as well a special Walking Tour with Regional Councillor Jean Haalboom. For a full listing of our school programs please click here.
NEW Indigenous Cultural Programs
Building upon the strong foundation of our school programs, Homer Watson House & Gallery is also excited to be offering New Indigenous Cultural Programs with local Ojibwe Elder, Artist & Storyteller Rene Meshake. These programs are created an delivered by by published children's author, Rene Meshake, to preserve, teach and share the rich Ojibwe language and culture through the engagement and practice of the arts.
