Carl was instrumental to the development of the Homer Watson House & Gallery. His involvement with the site began during the 1960’s when Bess Hamilton, owner at the time, would ask him “to watch over” the house while she was away, and he continue that duty throughout his lifetime. He offered the staff and board encouragement and wisdom and always did it with a smile and warm sense of humour.  We knew him as a coach, educator, mentor, enabler. Carl spoke with pride of his community and his family. He will be forever remembered at the Homer Watson historic site for his generosity and loving nature.
